The Isadora Duncan Foundation is launching a new workshop titled "Technology for Adults" at the foundation's headquarters. The activity will take place from Monday, February 10, to Thursday, February 13, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM.
The course will focus on understanding our smartphone or tablet and its environment. Participants will also explore the Internet, learning to navigate the web safely and efficiently. They will work with search engines, email, social media, and video conferencing to maximize the use of their devices. Additionally, the workshop will cover online banking, card payments, Bizum, transfers, and other tools to securely manage personal finances. Another key aspect will be the use of electronic certificates and PIN codes for online bureaucratic procedures. The workshop will also include a section on AI, its practical applications for users, and its potential risks. Finally, it will focus on identifying fraud and scams, providing essential tips to avoid being deceived and to protect privacy effectively. A conciliation service is available to ensure no one misses this course.
