Red Ormiga, a digital cohesion space between organizations to fight for the equality of migrant women and a project by the Isadora Duncan Foundation with fifteen years of experience, has completely overhauled its functionalities and the portal design.
Both the website and the network itself originated as initiatives from the Isadora Duncan Foundationās "Day Center for Immigrant Women" program, with the aim of providing a nationwide resource that facilitates access to relevant information, courses, workshops, activities, news, etc., for both women and organizations.
Objectives of the Red Ormiga
The main objectives of the Red Ormiga are coordination, dissemination, and support among organizations of migrant women across the territory, participation in campaigns, advocacy events, training actions, exchange of ideas, initiatives, and best practices for the benefit of the community. The ultimate goal is to create synergies between entities working in favor of migrants, specifically women, to dialogue, share experiences, build consensus, and work towards common goals. In short, it is a cohesion portal between organizations to work in a network and fight for the equality of migrant women.
