The Isadora Duncan Foundation participates in the European Project “Better Internet for Kids”

In recent weeks, the Isadora Duncan Foundation has been actively involved in a project coordinated by the European Commission (in collaboration with the Insafe network of European Safer Internet Centres and other partner organizations).

This project began on May 11, 2022, and its main goal is to create a safer Internet for children and adolescents. Within the framework of this initiative, the BIK strategy Better Internet for Kids was established, in which the European Commission and the Insafe network of European Centres collaborate with numerous entities, including the Isadora Duncan Foundation for Single-Parent Families.

The first session in which our organization participated took place on Wednesday, March 12, featuring a group discussion involving several mothers and our organization's head of the childhood area. Together, they engaged in a broad debate on various topics related to a healthy Internet environment for children, exchanging ideas and personal experiences with the aim of improving learning environments and addressing the challenges of an increasingly digital world.

In the coming weeks, the European Commission will share the results with all participating organizations and associations involved in this project, ensuring that children across the European Union can enjoy a safer and more engaging Internet experience.
