From the Isadora Duncan Single-Parent Family Foundation (FFM Isadora Duncan) comes a film forum aimed at immigrant women, featuring the documentary “Invisible Violence”. This documentary addresses gender violence against women, one of the clearest manifestations of inequality between men and women where men exert power over women simply because they are women. There are various types of gender violence, some more visible and others more subtle, such as psychological violence.
Gender violence against migrant women manifests in multiple ways throughout all stages of the migration process. Therefore, this activity aims to create a space for debate and reflection on a complex topic such as gender violence, specifically psychological violence. The main goal is to generate tools to make it visible, detect it, prevent it, and fight against it.
