The Isadora Duncan Foundation, as part of the
Violence Prevention program, is organizing the
First National Meeting on Best Practices Against Economic Violence Towards Women, which will take place on
March 6 at 9:30 AM in the city of León.
This is the first national event aimed at understanding and promoting various initiatives for raising awareness, preventing, and making visible economic violence
as one of the most invisible forms of violence against women.
The meeting will focus on three key perspectives:
- Panel on Legal Advances: Presenting progress in the legal field regarding the treatment of economic violence against women.
- Panel on Research and Studies: Showcasing specific investigations and publications on the execution of economic violence.
- Panel on Actions and Projects: Highlighting various initiatives and activities aimed at making this type of violence visible and preventing it.
The Meeting will feature various expert professionals in each of these fields, presenting the current legal landscape, research, and project implementation. These contributions will serve as best practices in shaping collective awareness for the prevention and eradication of violence against women, specifically in its economic form.
Another fundamental objective of the Meeting is the creation and strengthening of networks and synergies among experts from different fields, who dedicate their professional efforts to raising awareness and preventing economic violence against women, whether through direct intervention or in the field of prevention.
The event can be attended in person (Location: Fundación Sierra Pambley – c/Sierra Pambley, 2, León) or followed live via
streaming. Registrations are now open and can be completed through the following

The full schedule and list of speakers will be published soon.
